De hoogte van de vergoeding en de voorwaarden verschillen per verzekeraar en per polis. Het is daarom belangrijk om uw polisvoorwaarden te controleren of contact op te nemen met uw zorgverzekeraar om te achterhalen wat er precies vergoed wordt.<\/p><p>Meestal is een verwijzing van een huisarts niet nodig om in aanmerking te komen voor een vergoeding. Behandelingen door een osteopaat die is aangesloten bij een erkende beroepsvereniging, zoals de Nederlands Osteopathie Federatie (NOF), worden doorgaans vergoed.
